Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StudAI Loop platform at studai.ai ("Platform"), operated by StudAI Loop ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. Platform Description

StudAI Loop is an AI-powered mastery learning platform that generates personalised learning journeys, adaptive quizzes, and verifiable skill credentials. The Platform uses artificial intelligence (Amazon Bedrock) to create content tailored to your learning profile.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Platform.
• You must provide accurate registration information (name, email).
• One account per person. Sharing account credentials is prohibited.

3. Account & Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• Notify us immediately at support@studai.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

• Free trial: 7-day Pro access upon registration. No credit card required.
• Pro plan: Paid monthly or annually via Razorpay. Prices displayed in INR.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are handled per our refund policy — partial-month refunds are not provided upon cancellation.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice.

5. AI-Generated Content

• Lessons, quizzes, and assessments are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies.
• AI-generated content is for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.
• We continuously improve content quality but do not guarantee error-free content.
• Code examples in lessons are intended for learning — always test code in your own environment before production use.

6. Verified Skill Identity (VSI) Credentials

• Credentials are issued based on AI-assessed mastery across 4 dimensions: recall, transfer, error recognition, and explanation.
• Credentials reflect your demonstrated ability at the time of assessment, not a guarantee of future performance.
• Employers can verify credentials via our public verification endpoint.
• Credential verification remains available even after account deletion (anonymised).

7. Fair Use & Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with the Platform
• Attempt to bypass mastery gates, rate limits, or security controls
• Share assessment questions or answers publicly
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract platform algorithms
• Use the Platform to generate content for resale or competing products
• Submit false or misleading data to manipulate assessments

8. Intellectual Property

• The StudAI Loop platform, brand, and technology are our intellectual property.
• AI-generated learning content is licensed to you for personal educational use only.
• Your personal data remains yours — see our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 of India. Details are provided in our Privacy Policy. You have the right to access, correct, and delete your data.

10. Limitation of Liability

• The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for AI content inaccuracies, service interruptions due to Azure outages, or Razorpay payment processing issues.

11. Service Availability

• We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced at least 24 hours in advance.
• The Platform depends on third-party services (Azure, Razorpay) whose availability is outside our control.

12. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time (Settings → Privacy → Delete Account).
• We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms with 7 days notice (immediate for serious violations).
• Upon termination, a 30-day grace period applies before data deletion (see Privacy Policy).

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
• Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation, then mediation, and finally by the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with 30 days notice via email. Material changes require re-acceptance. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
